Students composed different stories using PhotoStory. Here are some samples of their work. Some of their stories are in Spanish and/or bilingual.
The first Photo story represents my students' journey to this country. The second Photo story is a summary of the Mayan Civilization. The third Photo Story is about their countries.

Students produced Power Point presentations after writing their own: "I have a dream" speeches.
Students were learning how to use the verb "to have" in English class. Simultaneously, in Social Studies class they were learning about famous African Americans as part of the celebration of African American History Month. Students listened to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. speech, then brainstormed ideas using a graphic organizer. Lastly, they created a slide show using Microsoft Power Point. They had the chance to present in front of other students and guests which provided a great opportunity to practice English language skills.
